WELCOME
WE WELCOME OUR GUESTS
Thank you for considering joining us for worship in God’s House. It is indeed a privilege to be His guest and receive His blessings from His Holy Word and the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper! We welcome your questions and comments about our church and worship, and we invite you to join us as often as possible. God bless your worship!
HOLY COMMUNION
Holy Communion is a wonderful gift God has given His Church. In the Sacrament Jesus Christ offers His actual body and blood for the forgiveness of our sins and the strengthening of our faith. If you are a baptized child of God, confidently trust that Jesus Christ, who is the true God and true man, died in your place to take away your sins, and that He is truly present in the bread and wine with His actual body and blood, we invite you to join us in receiving those benefits. St. Paul warns that anyone who eats and drinks without believing that the body and blood are received in this Sacrament, eats and drinks God’s judgment on himself/herself instead of receiving any of its benefits. If there is any uncertainty about any of this, please talk to the pastor before communing.
WE ARE
Commissioned to…”Go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always to the very end of the age.” – Jesus.
Commanded to…”Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength…and Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Jesus.
CHANGING LIVES BY PROCLAIMING OUR RISEN SAVIOR
Risen Savior is a church focused on changing lives. In touch with our community and gathered at the cross, we are growing as God’s people. Through our experience of God’s love and our commitment to support one another, we authentically model the life of a family gathered by God’s Spirit in the name of Jesus. Christ is present among us and honored in our worship as we proclaim to everyone that Christ is the Risen Savior. We are convinced that the proclamation of Christ is what changes lives. For this reason, we summarize our mission by saying we are “Changing lives by Proclaiming Our Risen Savior.”
